10 Tools to Create a Magical Morning

Have you ever woken up in the morning and thought, ‘here we go again’?

Being absolutely honest, I definitely have. If you feel aligned with the title of Starseed and maybe Lightworker too, the chances are while you were sleeping you clocked up some working hours in the Astral realm. While you are sleeping, you may have worked as a warrior of peace and love in the multiverse - and once you’ve landed back in the physical body and your eyes begin to open, you are met with a sudden awakening of being back in your room, back in your 3D life and back on Planet Earth. For sure, we are on one of the most beautiful planets, the nature, the animals. The opportunities to feel and to create are overwhelmingly wonderful but there is also some parts of the Matrix on planet Earth you are maybe looking to shift - maybe lifestyle, wealth, health, sex life.

The longer I have been on this journey of self-discovery, the more I have felt a deeper connection to my higher Self and my intuition and the creation partnership with the Universal Energy you may call ‘God’ or ‘Source’ or ‘The Universe’. The deeper this connection has become, the more attuned I am with faith and with trust. However, as I step out into the world, it’s easy to forget. It’s easy to brainwash the psyche with wants and needs, it’s easy to associate ourselves with the outside world as our inside world and it’s easy to get lost in a repetition of mindless habitual moments. When we desire a day filled with love, abundance, joy, calm energy and even opportunities, it’s important to consider awareness, consciousness.

The opportunity to be and feel all those things is increased by how you spend those first few moments of your day.

In this article, I'll provide 10 tools to help you create a magical morning and provide yourself the opportunity to have the day you desire.

Side note, I know everyone’s magical morning may look very different, so please take from this what will work for you. Know the difference between making excuses verses the reality of what you’re up against and trust that whatever feels good for you right now, today, is absolutely perfect in every way!

1. Meditation

To cleanse the mind first thing in the morning with meditation is bliss. You may have had the wackiest dreams that you can’t even remember and your conscious mind has been switched off for the night. It’s also a beautiful opportunity to connect to the higher power that can bring into the being a beautiful reminder of how powerful you really are.

2. Conscious Breathing

As a Kundalini Yoga Teacher, conscious breathing became apparent to me as a very important tool. It is perfect for our mental wellbeing and our physical wellbeing, and it is said that disease can not exist in a highly oxygenated body. So often with stress and anxiety, the breath can be shortened, but by doing breathing exercises in the morning and using them throughout our day we can shift the energy of a conversation, the energy of a room and of course our feelings and whole being.

3. Visualisations

If I ask you to think of a lemon, cut it in half and then suck on the juices, it makes the mouth water doesn’t it? Perhaps it even makes you squirm. This is the power of the mind, the power of visualisations. The mind doesn’t know the difference between ‘reality’ and ‘non-reality’. When we have a desire to manifest a dream or a goal we do that with feeling and that raises our vibrational frequency. Taking a moment in the morning or throughout the day to connect with the feeling of having what it is you desire accelerates the dream into reality. It can also be a very calming tool.

4. Affirmations

Have you ever recorded yourself talking throughout the day? Have you ever considered the way you speak to yourself throughout the day? Many people speak about themselves to other people in a negative way and also to themselves internally in a negative way. To shift away from this non-serving habit, I invite you to consider being mindful, being aware, being conscious in your magical morning but to take that through your whole day

Being mindful of the way we speak about ourselves to ourselves and to others and changing it in a moment. Practicing this first thing in the morning elevates vibrational frequency, elevates the feelings you may have about yourself and also your day and pays you back 100 time folds.

5. Gratitude

This is another tool that can be carried out throughout the day, but just bringing it into your morning for a few moments again shifts the energetic frequency and can take someone from feelings of fear and anxiety to love and abundance.

6. Prayer

I always think of meditation as listening and prayer as speaking. Prayer is powerful and I know this word can be a trigger for a some people but perhaps just consider it as a conversation with the higher powers. You can of course pray for yourself, pray for guidance, pray to your angels, to someone who has passed on to the non-physical realm, to whoever you like but I also know that praying for other people is supper powerful too. Praying for an individual, praying for a community and even a country can be a beautiful thing.

The most powerful prayer is that of a Mother. So if you feel you need extra help with anything, ask your mum to get involved. Or if you’re a mother, why not say a prayer for your son/daughter today.

7. Movement

Just move. It doesn’t matter what or how... but MOVE!

Energy can get stagnant in the physical and the subtle body so we want to make sure we move daily. I would invite you to move in a way that feels different too, try something different, try dancing, yoga, tai chi or a workout but something new and different is absolutely perfect to get the energy moving around the physical body to create a shift in the mental and astral body.

8. Journalling

This is one of my favourites. Have you ever felt undecided, or stuck or unsure? Journalling is perfect for this. It’s an opportunity to be your own coach. You can consider anything in your life you’d like help with - write some questions down, meditate to clear the mind and answer them. I’ve also created a journalling workshop that I advise my clients to consider doing every three months to discover their desires, their purpose and to reflect on what has been but more importantly to get excited and you guessed it, shift the energy to a higher frequency to create something special in the now and in the future.

See the journaling workshop here.

9. Read/Educate

Reading and learning definitely created a huge impact for me on the beginning of my personal growth journey, as it really invited me to consider another way to think, to see and to understand. If you're looking for some recommendations, check out my book list.

I also enjoy learning from the many podcasts and documentaries on YouTube and podcasts. Some of my favourite people to tune into are Eckhart Tolle, Esther Abraham Hicks, Dr. Wayne Dyer, Greg Braden, Joe Dispenza

10. Nutrition

So everything mentioned above is mostly to feed the mental body and the spiritual body but nutrition is really an opportunity to feed the physical body. The vehicle that enables you to enjoy this beautiful life. It’s universally understood that we can no longer get all the nutrition our body needs from eating the foods we’ve always eaten. Food is more over produced than ever before and this over production has led to diminished nutrients in our food.

So what exactly should you be having? I personally start my day with a vegan protein smoothie that contains extra vitamins and minerals. I also have a green shot and a nutritious fizz drink for extra energy from guarana, ginseng and green tea that is also high in vitamin b12.

Conclusion

Ok, so let’s not go from zero to hero. Some of you may already have a beautiful established morning routine, but if you don’t, maybe start with just picking out three things from the above that you would like to start implementing. Remember most of these tools can be added throughout your day too so if you’ like to do that why not set an alarm on your phone.

I personally have five alarms set throughout my day and as soon as they go off I drop everything and I start affirming how amazing I am, I connect to my dreams and the feeling of those desires, I give gratitude for my health, and so much more and I say a prayer of thanks.
